Product Era
The death of Queen Victoria in 1901 led to the assention of Edward VII sparked the Edwardian period. It lasted a relatively short period of time compared to the long reign of Victoria but the Edwardian style is generally recognized to have lasted until 1920 (10 years after Edward VII’s death).
Unique Characteristics
A mould that originates from central London it is classic of the Edwardian period framing the doors beautifully.
Aesthetic Appeal
A condensed teardrop that has a wider outer section supported by the inner flat section. The frame of the door is visually strong from the outer wider section.
