Product Era
Contemporary modernism emerged in the early twentieth century, and by the 1920s, with prominent design figures such as Le Corbusier, Frank Lloyd Wright and others established their reputations. Following the Second World War its popularity increased alongside the modernist planning ethos that tried to correct the previous failure of architecture and design to meet basic social needs.
