Generally houses built from the 1890s through to the outbreak of the First World War in 1914 used quality materials that have stood the test of time. Timber features in particular were of high quality which if well maintained would last for centuries. Their appearance appears timeless with designers and builders using Tudor timber framed buildings and stout, early 18th Century houses as their inspiration to create Arts, Crafts and Neo-Georgian style properties.

Unique Characteristics

Internally called a Marmite mould as its one that customers either love or loathe. Its is dramatic and bold using simple lines.

From the narrowest to the bottom this skirting has lines, steps, rolls and scoops. It is a roller coast ride of design that comes together to offer something dramatic.

Cabling

You can add the option of a cable groove running along the back of the skirting board to provide a hidden wiring duct.
